After graduating with a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the Department of Chemistry and Tecnology of Drugs of Sapienza University in Rome (Italy), I obtained the PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same department. Through the years, I have gained experience in computational chemistry, cell assays, enzymatic assays, and organic chemistry. From 2014 to 2017 I was appointed as postdoctoral research associate in Garland R. Marshall’s lab at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis (MO, USA), focusing on the design, identification and biologically testing of anti -HIV, -cancer, and -parasitic drugs as well as on developing new chemoinformatics tools. Actually I’m a researcher in Jens Carlsson’s group at Uppsala University (Sweden), working on G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs).
